Java Takes Center Stage in New York at the "Real-World Java" Seminar
Java developers are coming from far and wide tomorrow to attend the first ever 'Real-World Java' Seminar, a one-day event being presented by SYS-CON Events in New York City, Monday 13th August.

They are coming to NYC from as far away as Florida and Maine for a wide variety of reasons: because they want to know more about the new features in Java 6.0, or attend the Power Panel on the subject of Java 7.0, a.k.a. "Dolphin"; they maybe want to hear first-hand from the co-author of 'EJB 3 in Action,' are wondering what's new at JBoss, or are trying to figure out .NET and Java interoperability in the enterprise.

The event aims to help Java developers of every stripe take a fresh look at the architecture of the projects they are working on now and serving as a roadmap for theirr further development as a Java professional.

Speakers include Bob Buffone, Chief Architect, Nexaweb; Nigel Cheshire, CEO, Enerjy Software; Yakov Fain, Principal Architect, Farata Systems; David Intersimone, Chief Evangelist, CodeGear; Peter Laudati, Developer Evangelist, Microsoft; Andy Miller, VP of JBoss Engineering, Red Hat; Rima Patel Sriganesh, Staff Engineer, Sun Microsytems; Michael Pellegrini, Principal Architect, Active Endpoints; Mark Pollack, Senior Consultant, Interface21; Reza Rahman, Chief Architect, Tripod Technologies; Norman Richards, Software Engineer, Red Hat; Mike Rozlog, Product Line Manager, CodeGear; Rossen Stoyanchev, Senior Consultant, Interface21; and Bjorn Townsend, Engineer, SourceLabs.
